Could We Make Casaroma Pickup Easier for You?

Allana is excited to figure out our next step.

When we closed our retail location, we knew there were still many customers who wanted a way to order their Casaroma products without having them shipped. That is why we began offering Saturday pickup at Alderney Gate Food Court. We bring the orders down, stay for a two-hour pickup window, and customers who are able to meet us there can collect their purchases without paying a shipping charge and have a nice conversation.

It has worked well for some people, but over time we have also heard from quite a few of you who cannot make that arrangement work.

Parking around Alderney can be difficult, especially in the summer, when the market is in full swing or if the parking lot is closed due to an event. Some people do not want to drive downtown period. Saturdays are not convenient for everyone, and because we are only there for a limited time, missing the pickup window can mean waiting until another week. With winter coming, we are also looking ahead realistically at whether it will always be practical for Allana and Bette to continue making that trip every Saturday.

So we are beginning to ask a different question:

Where would pickups be easier for you?

One idea we are considering is moving the regular pickup point to somewhere such as Bedford Place Mall or Sunnyside Mall, where parking is easier, and access may be more convenient for many of our customers. We could also consider a location in Sackville, and we are looking at the possibility of creating another pickup or drop-off option in Elmsdale.

But there may be another solution we have not thought of yet.

Originally, what we really hoped to find was a business or location where we could drop off completed Casaroma orders and allow customers to collect them during regular business hours, rather than everyone having to meet us during one two-hour window.

If you own a store, clinic, studio, or other suitable business and would be interested in becoming a Casaroma pickup location, we would love to hear from you. It could work well for everyone involved: our customers would have a convenient place to collect their orders, we would have a reliable drop-off point, and your business would have new people walking through the door who may not have discovered you otherwise.

Why Pickup Still Matters

This also connects directly with the shipping conversation we have been having.

When you pick up your Casaroma order, there is no shipping charge at all. That gives local customers another way to keep their overall purchase cost down while still having access to the products they want.

So before we make a decision about changing the Alderney pickup, we would really like to hear from you.

Would Bedford be easier?

Would Sackville be better?

Would Elmsdale be useful?

Do you know of a business that might make a good Casaroma pickup location?

Or is Alderney still the location that works best for you?

Please reply and tell us. We would rather build the next pickup system around what our customers actually need than guess from our side of the counter.

Help Us Choose the Next Pickup Location

We have created a quick little survey to get your thoughts to us. Your answers over the next little while will help us decide what the Casaroma pickup system should look like going into the winter and beyond.

If you use pickup now, have wanted to use it but could not, or know of a location that could work well, please let us know.

Please take a moment to fill in our quick survey.
