What’s happening in the Marketplace?

Throughout the world, we are being impacted by supply chain issues and staffing problems.  You can imagine that Casaroma is having its challenges as we, as well as many of our growers and distillers, are trying to keep our footing in this rapidly changing environment.  Floods, climate change, pandemics - all are affecting the availability of quality essential oils.  Pricing fluctuates from week to week as freight charges are also affected by gas prices.

One of the temporary (I hope) casualties of the times is Fractionated Coconut.  The market price for a high-quality fractionation has doubled in the past month.  So, unfortunately, once we have sold what stock we have, we will have to pass on that increase.  For that reason, we are now offering our massage blends in a lotion carrier which is, at least for now, more affordable.  We have found that this lotion is highly absorbable, and our clients are telling us that they are quite satisfied with the change.  Of course, if you still prefer the fractionated coconut, we will make it up in that for you.

We will let you know if other major shifts impact our product but we will, as always, try our best to give you the highest quality at the most affordable price that we can manage.
