"Spruce is ‘evergreen’, and means it."

By Donna

As an ‘every green’  spruce tree could be considered as one of the woodland’s eternal optimists – re-igniting hope and renewal across a cold Canadian landscape during those months of shortest days and longest nights, and perhaps that is reason enough to have made the spruce tree as a popular choice as the celebrated Christmas tree – the humble conifer as the chosen protector of all gifts tightly wrapped and piled beneath those needly boughs.

However, by inviting the spruce tree into your home you have probably given yourself one the best gifts of all – for the appealing scent of spruce lingers intelligently and as it does it speaks directly to your inner compass, helping to balance and ground your emotions as well as rejuvenating your spirit, restoring a sense of awareness and truth as to what is most important in your life.

Though,  best of all the essence of spruce doesn’t have to be limited to one season of the year, for spruce can bring a sense of harmony to your life and surroundings any time.
