"Do We Sell Other Companies Products?"

We have seen a lot of people come through our store over the last 24 years and now with our website up and running smoothly we get a lot of correspondence from there as well. We get all kinds of questions ranging from how to feel better, how to destress, how to help my child or my pet etc.. But one question that we get as well on the occasion is do we carry Doterra or Young Living oils? And How is the quality of your oils compared to theirs? 

I just thought I would post this answer.

 The short answer is No. We do not sell Doterra or Young Living Oils, they are a brand name and they are a multi-level marketing company. Although some of our class graduates do sell these oils, they do not come from us. 

We carry our own brand of essential oils. Our oils are totally researched out, check for the GC's and bought by us, we are our own company and have been for over 20 years. We carry the best oils we can find on a per crop basis, meaning Mother Nature will grow different great crops in different parts of the world. We also are proud to be able to buy some Canadian oils and even some local oils. No one has the best oils in the world, it's impossible to compare all of them. It is a natural product and each distillation is different. 

Another question we get asked if our oils are safe for internal use or if we can put them directly onto the skin without a carrier. The short answer is NO. We do not recommend internal usage, or putting essential oils neat or undiluted on the skin, this is not because our oils lack purity, our oils are all-natural and very pure, but it is because it is dangerous and people often hurt themselves or their children or pets because they are not using these oils in the appropriate manner. Essential oils are a concentrated product of the plant. The recommended usage of a plant is very different from the recommended usage of essential oil. 

We will often encourage you to buy whatever kind of essential oil brand you want to support but we also encourage you to follow our safety practices, which are also supported by Health Canada.
