This hydrosol is a byproduct of the distillation of Lavender essential oil.  The essential oil contains the fat soluble components of the plant while the hydrosol contains the water soluble elements.  Hydrosols and floral waters are not the same!  This hydrosol is gentle and soothing with a soft aroma similar, but not identical to the essential oil.  It is skin safe and is often used as a toner as well as a relaxing spray and a soother for irritated skin.  It is available in 30, 60, 120 and 240 mls.
