Personalized Botanical Personal Care
Looking for a natural deodorant, shampoo, body lotion, facial product or essential oil blend made to suit your preferences? At Casaroma Wellness, we formulate our own botanical personal care products in Nova Scotia and can often adjust aromas, ingredients or other formulation details. We also offer personalized product labels for gifts and special occasions. Whether you want to modify an existing Casaroma product or discuss creating something new, we're happy to explore the possibilities with you.

Adjust a Casaroma Product
Already using one of our products but need something changed? Depending on the formulation, we may be able to remove or substitute an ingredient, adjust the aroma, or make another small modification to better suit you. Many of our products have a way to adjust the product right on the page, but if the product does not, request the product change here.
How Customization Works at Casaroma Wellness
Customization has been part of Casaroma for more than 30 years. When you tell us what you would like changed or created, we first look at what you are asking for and determine how much work is actually involved. Sometimes a request is a straightforward adjustment to an existing Casaroma product. Other times, what you are looking for requires us to understand more about you, select different ingredients or essential oils, and develop a formula specifically for you.
You do not need to decide which type of service you need before contacting us. We will review your request and let you know whether it can be handled as a product adjustment, whether a short conversation would help, or whether it requires a more complete custom formulation and consultation.
Any additional consultation or formulation cost will be explained to you before we begin.

Custom Formulation
When an adjustment to an existing product isn't enough, we can develop something specifically for you.
Custom formulation begins with understanding what you want the product to do, who will be using it, your scent and ingredient preferences, sensitivities or ingredients you wish to avoid, and the type of product you are looking for. From there, we determine whether an existing Casaroma formula can be adapted or whether a new formula needs to be developed.
This may include selecting a different base, choosing appropriate essential oils and concentrations, adjusting aroma and texture, or developing a combination that is not currently part of the Casaroma collection.
Custom Formulation Fees
Custom formulation is based on the amount of professional time required to develop your product and is charged at $37.50 per 30 minutes.
Some requests can be developed quite quickly, while others require more extensive research, ingredient selection and formulation work. We will review what you are asking for first and let you know the expected amount of formulation time and cost before we begin.
No formulation work begins until you know what is involved and have agreed to proceed.
The cost of the finished product is separate and will depend on the ingredients, essential oils, size and quantity required.

Once we receive your request, we will review what you are looking for and determine the best way to help.
If it is a straightforward adjustment to an existing Casaroma product, we will let you know whether the change can be made and what, if any, additional cost is involved. If your request requires custom formulation, we will explain the expected formulation time, charged at $37.50 per 30 minutes, as well as the anticipated cost of the finished product.
If we need to understand more before making that recommendation, we may suggest a conversation with you first.
