The Story of how Cool & Relieving came into being.

People often ask us how our products are developed.
The truth is, very few of them begin with a business plan.
Almost every product we make started because a customer came to us with a need. We created a product especially for them, and then, seeing that it worked well, offered it to other clients with a similar need.
That's exactly how Cool & Relieving came to be.
More than twenty years ago, one of our longtime customers, Judy, was living with arthritis and struggling with the inflammation, stiffness, and discomfort that so often accompany it.
Together we created a simple blend using two of our favourite essential oils—
Roman Chamomile and Lavender Essential oil in a rich cream base.
It was made especially for Judy, so naturally we called it Judy's Pain & Stiffness Blend.
The results were so encouraging that other customers began asking for it. Before long, it had become part of the Casaroma family under the name Anti-Inflammatory Blend.
Then Health Canada stepped in.
Although we weren't making medical claims, the name itself was considered too close to the wording used for prescription medications. Rather than argue, we simply chose a new name that reflected how people experienced the blend.
And that is how Cool & Relieving was born.
Over the years our customers continued to inspire us.
"Could I get this as a massage oil?"
"What about a body lotion?"
"Would it work in a shower gel?"

The name may have changed, and the Cool and Relieving family has definitely grown, but the heart of the formula remains exactly the same.
It all began with one longtime customer named Judy, who simply wanted to move a little more comfortably.
When you choose Cool & Relieving today, you're using more than a product. You're sharing in a story that began over twenty years ago with one person's need, a little creativity, and a belief that nature has much to offer.
In many ways, that's the story of Casaroma itself.
