"On the Go" Services

In the Workplace or in the comfort of your own Home.


Some Reasons why you may want to call our "On the Go" Services

  • If you are a stay at home parent and don't have the chance to to get out to give yourself a break.
  • Your children are in school or at a friend's house for an hour.
  • You are retired and going out is more complicated now.
  • You can go right to sleep after your session with us.
  • You are home from work on a sick day and you need some extra healing.
  • You can stay in your home and recuperate quicker.
  • If you have been in an accident and you are having trouble getting around.
  • You are in Chronic pain and it is not easy to get around.
  • You are visiting the Halifax area and you have time for some stress reduction and relaxation.

These are the different services the Wellness Centre can offer you.

Massage ( with a Registered Massage Therapist)

There are many different ways to reduce the stress within your body. Massage is a wonderful way to relax the body and start the healing process. Registered Massage Therapists can do deep tissue massage and/or Relaxation Massage. These sessions can last between one and two hours. Shawn will work at whatever pressure you choose and support your comfort level.

Reiki

A gentle, non invasive way of reviving the chakras and bringing the body's energy field into alignment. Each session is approx. one hour long. During your session you are lying down fully clothed listening to soft music while the practitioner works with the energy field of your body.

Ionic Foot Detox

This is a non-invasive way of detoxing the body through the feet. The process can take from 30 min up to an hour with the results easily being seen in the foot bath water. While your body is detoxing with the foot bath you can also receive a relaxing head massage.

Eternale Stress Reduction and Beauty enhancer

You can sit in a comfortable chair or use the massage table during this session. We use biofeedback straps to help with the two way communication between the machine and the body. Headphones are also used to encourage the guided meditations to come in loud and clear. Using visualization, light (if you choose to watch the screen)and sound techniques, we can help re-energize your inner core and balance your state of well being from the inside out

"On the Go" Price List

  • Ionic Foot Detox = $50.00 + tax
  • Reiki = $60.00 + tax for 1 hour
  • Registered Massage ( Relaxation or Deep Tissue)
    RMT usually covered under most insurance plans
    • 1 hour = $ 85.00 + tax
    • 1 1/2 hours= $120.00 + tax
    • 2 hours= $ 155.00 + tax
  • Eternale Relaxation and Stress Reduction
    • 1 hour = $ 60.00 + tax
    • 1 1/2 hours= $90.00 + tax

Travelling fees can occur depending on where we are going.

"On the Go" Staff
Shawn is one of our "On the Go" therapists. He is a Registered Massage Therapist, he is trained in Indian Head massage and is a Reiki Master. Shawn can do deep tissue Massage or relaxation Massage. He is covered with most insurance companies. Shawn includes aromatherapy with his massage unless you prefer scent free.
